With this limited edition pipe Dunhill pays homage to his founder, Alfred Dunhill (30 September 1872 – 2 January 1959), who was an English tobacconist, entrepreneur, inventor, and the progenitor of Alfred Dunhill Ltd.
From 1893 Dunhill ran a company selling horse and motoring accessories, and in 1907 he opened the Duke Street tobacconist store. Other shops were opened in New York and Paris in the 1920s. With his international ambitions, Dunhill helped to create the modern smoking accessories and luxury goods market.
The Alfred Dunhill pipe is a re-edition of the Motorities shape in Cumberland finish, fitted with a Sterling silver engraved band.
The accompanying solid Sterling silver tamper features Alfred Dunhill's bust.
The pipe is housed in a special book-style presentation case and is limited to only 60 units worldwide.
