S.T.Dupont Chairman Amber Rollerball Pen

S.T. Dupont "Chairman" is probably one of the most exclusive pens ever made by S.T. Dupont.

At the top of the Montparnasse collection from the late 1990s, the Chairman pen has both the barrel and the cap engraved with a fine pattern and then covered with several coats of translucent natural Chinese lacquer. The combination of the guilloche and the layers of lacquer gives to the pen a different hue as the angle of illumination changes (see the pictures). The natural lacquer also gives a warm, wonderful tactile experience.
